Ireland's longest running literary magazine Cyphers was founded in 1975. The magazine is published with the assistance of the Arts Council of R. Ireland and Northern Ireland. With strong emphasis on creative work it has published poetry, prose, graphics and reviews by many distinguished writers, translators and artists. The magazine is publishes three editions per year.
Books Ireland is a monthly publication. The first flush briefly covers each new Irish book sent in for review. Each issue also includes a more extended review on particular books by writers specifically chosen for their expertise or knowledge. Various features are based on interviews with authors, publishers and booksellers.

Irish Pages is a biannual Belfast journal combining Irish, European and international perspectives. This Irish periodical has a large general readership with outstanding writing from both Ireland and overseas.
